I am looking for a house I Vicksburg Mississippi for rent. It needs to have 2 bedrooms, and at least 2 baths. Also we have cats and dogs so it needs to allow pets as well and maybe horses. Can anyone explain the battles that occured in the Union struggle to gain control of the Mississippi River? I know that Vicksburg was the last battle the the Union won to gain control of the river...but I know there must be more. Can anyone give me the battles?
